Winemaker’s Notes
Single Vineyard “Alizarine” Malbec – this excellent red wine, which is made from the Malbec variety, grown in the vineyard Alizarin. The word “Alizarin” of French origin, which determines the intensity of the red color. The vineyard was planted in 1927 and is located near the Andes, which in the cold season to protect from cold winds. The vineyard is located on silty soils with a layer of pebbles. Berries from this vineyard have good acidity, round tannins and a rich floral bouquet.
Malbec grape harvest is picked by hand in small wooden boxes of 17 kg, with the selected bundles with small berries. Thereafter, grapes are pressed in steel tanks. Followed by cold maceration for 5-8 days at a temperature of 8 C. Fermentation is conducted using yeast for about two weeks with frequent pressing. Wine is aged in small barrels of French oak for 18 months. The wine has excellent potential for storage and another for 8 years will reveal the full flavor and richness of flavor.Tasting Notes
Notes of ripe plums, dark cherries, and tobacco with firm tannins and a smooth, fruit-focused profile. It also features aromas of wild blueberries, blackberries, cardamom, and cacao with a juicy, fresh character and fine-grained tannins.

Tenuta Perano Chianti Classico 2020 has a wonderful clear red colour. On the nose it has floral notes of violets combined with hints of red fruits, such as raspberry and cherry, not least the hints of wild berries such as blackberry. Also interesting is the spiciness, reminiscent of cloves and some peppery notes. On the palate, the freshness combined with the minerality is simply stunning. Harmonious, dry and savoury. The tannin is notable.
