  • Because of the rocky soils, this wine is always the most intense, and regal personality when young, and can age gracefully for 20 years. Silex proudly displays the elegance and the mineral nuances of its soil. The mouthfeel texture compares to lemon sorbet sensations. The minerality is precise, intense and complemented by a hint of gooseberry and lime flavors.

  • Visually, its clear, pale yellow color, with a slight hint of green, suggests a lovely freshness. The nose reveals a beautiful aromatic intensity: the initial aromas release notes of ripe tropical fruits, mango, and passion fruit, mingled with delicate lemony and floral touches such as acacia blossom and elderflower. These are followed by more subtle notes of flint and gunflint, typical of great Pouilly-Fumé wines, evoking their terroir of origin.

On the palate, the attack is crisp and lively. The balance between natural acidity and roundness makes it a harmonious and structured wine.
