Light yellow color with green tints. Intense notes, a blend of fruit (lychee, etc.) and rose, with some lighter notes of citrus (lemon, grapefruit). Nice balance of acidity and a finish with notes of lychees and citrus.

A heavenly, full-bodied dry Riesling with forceful minerality from 100-year-old vines grown in the blue slate soil of Graach.

Graach is a small village in the Mosel valley. It’s steep slate slopes produce wines that combine elegance with rustic strength. Grosses Gewächs (GG) is the designation for an estate’s best dry wine from a Grosse Lage (grand cru) vineyard. This limited-production wine was fermented with indigenous yeasts and kept in the barrel, on the full lees, for a year before bottling. The extended maturation time allows the wine to develop greater texture and a deeper natural harmony. This is a fully ripe wine, with vibrant aromatics and a pronounced acidity that gives it a brilliant structural precision.

A vibrant, expressive Riesling with the same depth as its predecessor, but this one has a slight fizz that lifts the palate even further. The rich flavors of citrus, pear, and subtle honey are made even more dynamic by the effervescence, adding a touch of liveliness and freshness. The acidity balances beautifully, providing structure and ensuring a crisp, satisfying finish.

Because of the rocky soils, this wine is always the most intense, and regal personality when young, and can age gracefully for 20 years. Silex proudly displays the elegance and the mineral nuances of its soil. The mouthfeel texture compares to lemon sorbet sensations. The minerality is precise, intense and complemented by a hint of gooseberry and lime flavors.
